Thoughts from 8 p.m. last night:

I have a digital to analog converter box, so I get to watch the
additional channels that WRC, WJLA and WUSA broadcast. All the
meteorologists are concerned about this. At 8 p.m., though, it is calm
outside in Alexandria. No sign of the approaching storm.
