Doug;
I was also picking up Manassas, VA on Howard County's VHF simulcast (154.250), clear as a bell. Not uncommon, really.

Subject: [Scan-DC] Chesterfield County VA
All,
I_believe_ I may have been picking up Chesterfield County VA Fire earlier this morning from Gaithersburg, transmitting on 154.16 MHz... for sure there was another station besides "Muttgummery" in there. Just for grins I went to the FCC database to search that frequency for VA and the results were interesting... there are listings different licensees with cities like Atkins, Carrollton, Chester, Chesterfield, and Concord, but they are all labeled as Fairfax County. The service is PW Public Safety Pool Conventional, so could it be that perhaps these other jurisdictions have transmitters up this way? There are co-ordinates given in each listing, but all are different from each other - I guess I'll have to try plugging some of those in to Google maps to see where they take me.
Any thoughts from anyone? Did anyone else happen to hear anything on 154.16 around 0830 this morning?
Regards,
Doug
