Thanks Doug, and all the others who replied directly. I think I have seen
their advertisements, but never traveled all the way up to Gaithersburg to
check them out (what's the closest airport??). From their web site it looks
like they carry a ton of stuff. Good to know if I need a connector in a
hurry.

Hi Andy, surprised that you don't know them being that you're a ham - but
then you're in Arlington and they're out here in G'burg... they are right on
Route 355 (main drag) in Gaithersburg and they sell connectors, coax, cable
assemblies and the like... one of the lurkers here used to work for them and
is a personal friend of Joel's (the owner) - he can add a bit more than I
can. I do know that they always do the Dayton hamfest, and both Joel and
Jeff are hams... I think everybody who works there is!

(KMG-365!) ;)
By the way, as Ed or somebody mentioned, the RFC is several blocks away and
remains unscathed. The fire was in some garden apartments that are vacant
and have been slated for demolition to make way for some new mess... the
city of Gaithersburg is in the process of committing suicide by building
itself up (literally, vertically) so that there will be so many people here
that it will be gridlocked, in a cheap and scaled-down imitation of what
Alexandria did in the area of what used to be Cameron Station and is now
Camerone Statione Farmes or whatever they call it. :(
(Did I say that out loud?)
