I showed up at the scene of a car wreck, not fatal, many years ago, just
after it happened. The driver of an Opel was knocked unconscious when his
knee slammed into an underdash radio mounted exactly like the telephone
thing under the dash shown in the picture. He passed out from the pain. I
remembered that. Whenever I install a radio in a car, I locate it so I
won't hit it in a wreck.
