Warning... Which Is In Effect Until 7 AM EST Wednesday. The Winter Weather
Advisory Is No Longer In Effect.
Several Rounds Of Rain Are Expected To Move From Southeast To Northeast
Across The Area Tonight. Underneath The Precipitation... The Ground And Air
Just Above The Ground Remain At Or Below Freezing. These At Or Below
Freezing Temperatures Are Now Forecast To Remain In Place Until Early
Wednesday Morning. This Will Lead To Ice Accumulations Around A Quarter Of
An Inch... Which May Lead To Significant Travel Problems This Evening And
Overnight. These Amounts Of Ice Could Also Lead To Downing Of Trees And
Power Lines.
An Ice Storm Warning Means Severe Winter Weather Conditions Are Expected Or
Occurring. Significant Amounts Of Ice Accumulations Will Make Travel
Extremely Dangerous. Travel Is Strongly Discouraged. If You Must Travel...
Keep An Extra Flashlight... Food... And Water In Your Vehicle In Case Of An
Emergency. Ice Accumulations May Lead To Snapped Power Lines And Falling
