[Scan-DC] CAP in MAssachusetts

Hello everyone,

There was someone on another news list that has some questions about CAP.
Hopefully someone can provide more insight and or someone in our area who
would know more.

"CAP was brought up a while ago, but the question was never really answered.
I understand that they provide some sort of aeronautical emergency services,
but are they really that active in our state, especially with the MSP
Airwing? Do they work in cooperation with the Airwing? Are there any
particular areas/regions that they focus on throughout the state? Are they
on the amateur service freqs because of it's "civil" affiliation (although,
I see that they are USAF Aux). Where are the repeaters located?

The reason I bring this up is because I caught a blip of the Patriot Net
tonight on 148.150, but it seemed to be a check-in with very little talk."
