[Scan-DC] Annoying Alert Tone on DCFD 154.190

Has it been recent. Is it after every transmission? If so the repeater is
programmed to do so if there is a problem to let the dispatcher know
something is wrong and to get a tech out to fix it. Woonsocket, RI fire does
the same thing.

Does Anyone have an idea why DCFD has started using an annoying string of
alert tones on 154.190?
Every 5 seconds...BEEP BEEP BEEP.  Are they trying to discourage old scanner
users from listening?
