That's no longer true. Howard County has purchased it's own helicopter, known as Talon. I do not have info on the helicopter, but you can see a few shots on http://www.hcfire.com/images/2007fireexpo.htm . Perhaps those who know more about helicopters can shed some light on it's make and model.

You may already know this but first time for me to hear Howard 1 Bravo working with Potomac (124.55).  He departed from Tipton Afld at Ft Meade and was working a surveillance mission in the Laurel.

I knew that Anne Arundel PD helos were working out of Tipton but the Howard helo is a first for me.

Since he used Howard 1 Bravo one would suspect that there's a Howard 1 Alfa there as well.
