Trolley Museum Marks 38th Anniversary at Fall Open House October 21,
2007

 The National Capital Trolley Museum will celebrate its 38th
Anniversary with an Open House on Sunday, October 21, 2007 from Noon
until 5p.m.

The Fall Open House will provide visitors with the opportunity to walk
among Washington street cars, American trolleys and European trams as
well as hear The Vanishing El tell you about the last days of the
Third Avenue elevated in New York City. The museum will also
re-introduce Third Avenue Railway System street
car 678 following its 12 year restoration.

The exhibits are free. Rides on the demonstration railway are $4 for
adults and $3 for children ages 2-17, as well as seniors age 65+.

The Trolley Museum is located in Northwest Branch Park, 1313 Bonifant
Road between Layhill Road and New Hampshire Avenue, north of Wheaton,
MD. Ride-On route 26 connects the Museum to the Glenmont and Twinbrook
