The Leesburg Emergency Preparedness Fair will be held Saturday,
October 20, 2007, from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Douglass Community
Center, 407 E. Market Street, Leesburg.

Various Loudoun County emergency and relief organizations will have
displays at the fair and emergency preparedness presentations will be
ongoing throughout the event. Loudoun County government organizations
participating include: the Office of Emergency Management, Public
Schools, Health Department and Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), Fire and
Rescue, and Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).

The American Red Cross and the Loudoun Amateur Radio Group (ham radio
operators) will also have displays. Emergency preparedness information
from Federal and State organizations will also be available at this
event. The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend the
fair and learn how to be prepared for all emergencies.
