[Scan-DC] Gathering?

Gang:

I live near the Ballston Metro stop in Arlington and would be honored to
host an informal gathering of interested scannerists. My apartment building
has a community room we can use and free parking is available. We can even
get rooftop access (22nd floor), if you care to test how intermod- and
overload-proof your radio is. As an alternative, we could meet at Gravely
Point Park (one of my very favorite scanning sites) just off the end of DCA
runway 1, but the weather is getting a bit cool, or at least unpredictable,
to meet outside.

On the schedule side, I was thinking mid- to late-November. I am leaving
this weekend for the World Radiocommunication Conference in Geneva and will
be gone until Nov 17th. I have several radios I could bring to the gathering
(AR8200MKIII, 396T, 246T, 996T, PRO-96), and hope others could do the same?

Let me know if you are interested, and we can try to set a firm schedule.
