It was both...AF 1 (VC-25A, 92-9000) and backup plane 82-8000 departed Andrews. AF 1 left at 1430, the backup about 5 minutes later. President to the U.N. today for meetings. There's also a CAP up over NYC being flown by Langley F-15s with KC-135 tanker support. Primary freq for that is 228.9 under HUNTRESS (NORAD) control and they're using 327.9 as a boom freq to refuel. ATC freq for them while in NYC is with Approach on 363.1. Clear comms from NYC of the CAP today here in Maryland - well, at least at my location.

Whatever, one of them just flew over Alexandria headed southwest at 2:40,
p.m. EDT. It was too high up to be taking off from KADW. It's pretty late
in the day for Bush to be going somewhere, so it could be a test flight.

I'd throw in some good frequencies, but they're on another hard drive.
