[Scan-DC] Bush, Marine One, White House Quantico

For future reference, what would have been a good set of frequencies to have
programmed in for monitoring Marine 1 and/or Air Force 1 activities?

I recall more than ten years ago, AF1 still had an analog FM air-to-ground
phone in the 400 MHz range that was unencrypted! I heard acitivity on it
several times. It was never used by high-ranking officials (I presumed they
used much more sophisticated equipment), but it was still entertaining. Does
anyone know if that frequency is still used? I could probably find the exact
frequency in an old Scannermaster publication.

Thanks. All in a day's work. I'm delighted I was able to do something
useful for a change. I saw only two helos, reported in another post, more
or less flying SW over T.C. Williams or the 3000-block of King Street -
the middle of Alexandria. It wouldn't surprise me if the helos split up
to avoid RPGs.

Hello, readers at the NSA.
