[Scan-DC] Yahoo radio scanning groups

I have no clue why you couldn't create a Yahoo group, but the fact is that the few DC area groups that were
on Yahoo died off due to lack of interest and activity. There are quite literally hundreds of radio-related
Yahoo groups out there; however they do seem to delete a group after a certain period of inactivity, or if
the owner requests it.
There was, in addition to the Scan Hagerstown group, one for southern Md, and one that was, many moons ago,
a proposed replacement for Scan-DC. All died off at some point.
You already know where most of the activity for our area has headed - RadioReference (of course)

All,
Does anyone know if Yahoo allows radio scanning groups
anymore?
There used to be a Scan-Hagerstown yahoogroup. I
tried to make a post to it a couple of weeks ago. The
post was rejected. I then looked and didn't see the
group listed. Thinking the old moderator discontinued
the groups, I tried to create a new group. I got a
message that the group could not be created and I'd
get an email within 48 hours expaling the reason.
That was a week ago and I still haven't received an
email.
Any ideas?
-Shawn
