[Scan-DC] NORAD To Conduct Exercises Over D.C. Area

At 1:30 there was a light plane flying very low over the Cherry Hill
Road/Calverton Boulevard in the Silver Spring/Beltsville area. It did a few
orbits and headed south and east before I lost sight in the car. A little
later a piston driver helicopter headed south on 95 at low altitude.

No fast movers yet!

Wayll, this is weird... I just looked on NORAD's web site, and there was a 
press release from _June_ 23rd (a month ago) about an exercise...  but 
nothing about one in July.

I'm beginning to wonder if NewsChannel 8 got furschimmelled...
