[Scan-DC] The disappearance of bees...

Steve (and all),
I work with a beekeeper that had 7 hives.  2 are
"gone."  Of the remaining 5, 1 is atop a cell tower.
(As a side note, since towers are relatively high, I'm
not exactly sure how the queen got up there.  I'm just
going by what he said.  It's his hive, so he should
know).
So, I've heard the cell tower argument before, but I'm
not buying it.
That said, European cell phone frequencies are at 900
MHz and 1800 MHz (vice 850 and 1900 MHz).

On a side note, there is website geared towards Linux
gurus called Slashdot (slashdot.org). There was an
article this past weekend on the subject.  The
prevailing theory there is genetically modified crops
are the culprit.

I don't think anyone really knows what's going on. 
But, it would be funny if the CTIA lobbying group that
forced the wonderful ECPA on us was brought to its
knees by a bunch of bees.
