[Scan-DC] Shooting at Virginia Tech

I watched the evening network news tonight. NBC sent Brian Williams to
Blacksburg. He interviewed, among others, a member of the Blacksburg
Volunteer Rescue Squad. She pointed out that there was a separate
Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, which is a volunteer, student-run agency. I
gather it was the first responder to the first shooting. Just last year,
the local squads had held a drill that prepared them, as much as anything
could, for the events of today.

It is said that Bush might be going to Blacksburg as early as tomorrow.
That should generate some radio traffic.
