Actually, didn't I read somewhere - maybe the new air shows listing by Larry Van Horn - that the CAP freqs
are now being classified as being sensitive for national security (even tho you can find them easily on the
net - even MT had them - check the Nov 2006 Milcom column, I believe)
Anyway, I do have the a/c frequency for the Rte 50 planes - I even heard them, albeit scratchy, with
indoor antennas several miles away during last summer. According to my master list, the frequency is 149.5375 (FM) with a PL of 156.7 This puts them in range of a great many 2 meter radios (not for transmitting, of course). Whether they will use the same frequency this year is unknown.
