As I surmised, it flew over the Mall yesterday. There was a pic in this
morning's WaPo.

In related news, I may have to give up my planespotting license, as I
still think what just took off from Andrews KADW headed west looked more
like a C-141 than a C-17. There are, though, no C-141s flying around
regularly anymore, are there? The fuselage looked "wrong" for a C-17, but
it had the trailing "spars" on the wings.
