Huge Airbus Lands At Dulles Sunday Night

CHANTILLY, Va. -- The world's biggest passenger aircraft is scheduled
to come to the Washington area Sunday night.

The four-engine Airbus A-380 will be making its second flight to
America from Frankfurt, Germany -- this time to Dulles International
Airport.

It's scheduled to land at Dulles at 9 p.m. Sunday with more than 500
passengers. The first flight of the massive jetliner to America landed
last Monday in New York.

Lufthansa will show off the Airbus at Dulles on Monday morning.

The A-380 has football field-length wings and can seat between 500 and
850 passengers, depending on the configuration of seats.

Airbus has yet to sell any of the planes to U.S. carriers. The A-380
comes with a price tag of about $300 million.

Airbus said the jet will be the flagship jetliner for the 21st century.
