District II Open House Kicks Off 75th Anniversary Closing Events

 Prince George’s County, Maryland…Police Chief Melvin C. High said
District II Commander Anita Rosser will host the first in a series of
open houses for citizens and residents to celebrate the close of the
Police Department’s 75th Anniversary.
 Each of the six district stations will host an open house.  Chief
High said “Our partnership with the community is stronger than ever,
and each opportunity we can provide for them to meet command staff,
become familiar with their local police district station and the
officers who serve there, strengthens that relationship.”
 Planned activities include a tour of the station, aviation and canine
demonstrations, auto crimes safety education and recruitment for the
Explorers Program. Light refreshments will be available.
 District Station open houses are listed below by date:
  District II March 24, 2007 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
  District III March 31, 2007 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
  District IV April 14, 2007  12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  District V April 17, 2007  5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  District I April 21, 2007  12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  District VI April 24, 2007  4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
