[Scan-DC] Accident yesterday in Montgomery Village/Gaithersburg?

Fatal Collision in Gaithersburg


Detectives from the Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating a  
single car accident that occurred at about 4:45 p.m. this evening. Sixth  
District officers responded to the scene of a serious collision in the  
20300 block of Fulks Farm Road where they found a single adult male dead  
inside a car that had apparently failed to negotiate the curve, left the  
roadway and struck a tree.

The identity of the driver is being withheld pending family notification.  
It is unknown at this time if alcohol or speed played a factor in this  
incident.

Anyone with information regarding this accident is asked to contact the  
Police Media Services Division.
