Since it seems that there's a fair amount of interest in Maryland (and DC metro) RR freqs, would there be any interest in getting a Wiki page at RadioReference to collect links, frequencies and so on?

A Media wiki page is a web page with a difference - you are the editor. The admin serves basically as a gatekeeper; you can build the page in whatever form you like. It's HTML aware, and has its own markup language, a basic intro to which is available off the RadioReference website.

All you need do is go to the RadioReference website, and click 'wiki' in the blue toolbar. You can register (free); from there you can edit almost any of the pages, or set up new ones yourself.

Let me stress that registered folks are the ones that put the content on the article (wiki-ese for 'page');
so if new freqs show up, or new users on new freqs, you can put that info on yourself - no waiting for a
webmaster to do it. This is exactly the approach we have taken with the Delmarva Milcom wiki (also found
on RR), and it's worked out quite well.

If one or more folks are interested, please email me at ka3jjz at netscape.com (for some reason, qth.net always blanks out my email ID - I have no idea why) and I can help you get started.
