[Scan-DC] circling plane

The SBS-1 tracks data from the airplane's transponder, specifically when
operating in Mode S. Most light airplanes are not equiped with transponders
that have a Mode S capability - but it will be required in the near
future....

All,
I may be wrong here, but I think the SBS-1 plots the
ACARS data. My guess is the plane doesn't carry the
radio equipment for ACARS.
