The only scanner I took with me was a Bearcat SC180B, which does not have
milair frequencies. I didn't have that one in the scanner. I can't
remember if it's possible to program the scanner for that freq. It won't
take me long to find out.

I ended up at Utah Street Park, something like that, in Fairlington,
overlooking the I-395 interchange with Quaker Lane at the Shirlington
Shopping Center. There were about eight other people there, and you could
see the top of the AF Memorial spires from that location. On the way over
there, I saw, from afar, what looked like a biplane. I could easily be
wrong on that. Before I got there, I got a glimpse of the B-2 in the
distance, and what was probably a C-17. Then we waited. I guess I missed
most of the flyover. About a half-hour later, the Thunderbirds showed up.
They were nowhere near the route they flew on Thursday.
