I saw a solo F-16 at about 1:00 trailing smoke over the Kennedy
Center. It was one of the Thunderbirds, which I thought was pretty
odd. There were several jets flying over the Palisades area of DC
scaring folks (where I was before driving through Gtown). Down by
the Lincoln Memorial, I looked out over the Potomac and saw a DC
fireboat serving as a 'midpoint' out in the water.
On my way out of town, I drove past Andrews and saw a C-47 and two
V-22 Osprey's off on the side next to a C-17, and I imagine a few
other planes.
>Anyone who was lucky enough to be outdoors at 1:00 p.m. in the greater

>camcorder. Took me by surprise, as I was on foot, with no scanner.

"Make no little plans; they have no magic to stir men's blood and
probably will themselves not be realized. Make big plans; aim high in
hope and work, remembering that a noble, logical diagram once
recorded will not die."
Daniel Burnham (Google him if you don't know)
