[Scan-DC] bc250d Discriminator Tap

   I don't have that particular radio but I have modified various 
receivers/scanners for unfiltered audio.  Try tapping IC3 that possibly 
may be labeled "TK-10421M-2" or "NJM3359-A", or possibly another id,  
pin 9 using a .01 capacitor in line using shielded cable to the chassis 
jack.  I prefer using RCA female chassis jacks and RCA audio/video 
shielded cables.  For instant confirmation of a good tap point, you need 
a stand alone analog/digital decoder such as the Connect Systems model CD2.
