AFAIK there was no such key combo, nor was there any firmware changes in the life of the 2006.
I think you are mixing apples and oranges here. Reaction Tune is NOT a standard 2006 ability; this was a feature of certain Optoelectronics frequency counters that, when wired to the listed scanners, could immediately tune it to a frequency when it got a hit. The 2006 can be modified - among it's many other modifications - to be compatible with this function.

says:
"What Is Reaction Tune?
It is a patented technology by Optoelectronics that allows selected
frequency counters to automatically tune a scanner to the frequency that
it just captured so that you can listen to the signal without having to
manually tune to it.
At this time, only the following frequency counters support Reaction
Tune:
Optoelectronics: CD100, Mini Scout, Scout
At this time, only the following receivers support Reaction Tune:
Icom: IC-R10, R7000, R7100, IC-R8500, & IC-R9000
AOR: AR2700, AR8000, AR8200, AR8600
RadioShack: PRO-2005/2006 w/OS456 & PRO-2035/2042 w/OS535
OptoCom: with optional ComCounter installed"
What is the magic key combo that lets me see what OS is in use on a
PRO-2006?
