I'm not entirely sure which files you copied, but if you copied from the Delmarva Milcom wiki, you should have a good set to get you started (particularly from the Combat Air Patrols article). That part of the wiki has been getting some updates lately, so be sure to check back from time to time.
There haven't been many CAPs lately - some sporadic exercises, but nothing to write home about. But that could change at any time, without much notice. Just to get yourself off the tarmac (pardon the aviation pun) I would concentrate on the UHF Potomac TRACON frequencies, UHF Washington ARTCC freqs, Andrews and Martin State. If you can hear activity on those, you're on your way. They're all outlined or linked off that Delmarva Milcom wiki.

I down loaded the combat air patrol frequencies for the northeast from RR.
Is that information up to date for the DC metro area? Any other frequencies
I should add?
Thanks.
