It's built to be a close approximation of one of the ships used by the
original inhabitants of Jamestown (or Jamestowne), when those settlers
crossed the Atlantic and that settlement was established four hundred
years ago, in 1607.
The ship will be on the Alexandria waterfront through Saturday. It's
worth a look; I was there today. To be on topic, I noticed that one of
the staff was using a rented Motorola Radius CP200 radio. I wouldn't
anticipate a lot of radio traffic.
