Doug try this

http://www.scannermaster.com/downloadables/usa.zip

This is what ScannerMaster has together. Also when you have you 796 setup
please let me know. I'd like to copy you MEM file for when I go down there.

Thanks
JOHN

Subject: [Scan-DC] Need help - Arlington Fire Trunking

Hope this isn't a duplicate, email seems to be acting up...

Greetings, List!

I've been off for awhile... time has been at a premium and so I needed to
drop off...

Need some help - I have a Uniden BC-796 and have been fairly successful at
programming it, using the ARC-250 software.

But... I _cannot_ seem to scan Arlington VA, no matter what I do... have
written 3 different programs myself, plus downloaded one that I found on the

yahoo scanner group... nothing seems to work; my radio doesn't seem to
recognize any of the programming for Arlington as a trunked system (works
fine on Montgomery trunking).

I have gotten info on Arlinton from radioreference.com and used that... also

checked the FCC database, and guess what - the frequencies shown there don't

match up with what's on radioreference!

Have written programs using both sets of frequencies, to no avail.

So:

Does anybody have any thoughts?

Does anyone have an ARC-250 .mem file for Arlington that is known to be
working?

Does anyone have any info on the Arlington system/frequencies, settings,
etc?

Thanks in advance - I have also downloaded the list archives from 2006 and
2005, will look thru them shortly... I have a new computer and don't have
all the utilities (WinZip) installed yet - gonna do that right now! Thanks
again!

Doug in Gaithersburg - deaf to Arlington!
