[Scan-DC] UHF Mil Question..

Like you, I "made" one for my RS Pro 4 channel, I think the Pro-4 or Pro-6,
can't remember anymore (remember the imitation rubber duck, a cigar antenna
that really didn't reach down to the center conductor of the 1/8" antenna
jack). I also made a control head for my 16 channel RS (the one that had
the two rows of 8 combination channel indicators/lock-out buttons. Anyway,
about once every one or two years, I will come across my old crystals, but
since those were my DC residence days, they wouldn't be of any use to you
anyway.

Take care,
Dewey

I had a homebrew one that let me use my first scanner, a four-channel
Montgomery Ward crystal scanner, in my car. I envied people who had
six-channel scanners. My scanner was made by Sharp. I still have it, and it
probably still works. I'd love to find a shoebox full of crystals at a yard
sale. Hasn't happened yet. With my luck, they'd be Bearcat-type crystals,
not the Regency-type that I would use.
