Come on Larry, I'm surprised! I know "convert-a-com" is slang for a style
of a vehicle portable adapter that a portable would slide into (if it's not
slang, then I *think* /\/\otorola coined it; the old GE PEs and Motorola
MXs, even the Sabers have one), but I thought all "ol' timers" were familiar
with the term... now I guess you want me to define "ol' timer". By "real",
I don't know of any other portable scanner manufactures that made such a
convenient mobile adapter for their products.
