Yes, there is a privately owned media rigged yellow R44 based at
Martin State Airport
in Baltimore County. Known as "Tweety Bird" it was brought to town by
it's owner when
WJZ and WBAL got in the chopper business. The owner thought the other
stations would
be clamoring for his freelance tv news video; sadly they didn't. It
flies occasionally for
odd video shoots last I heard....
