Oh, those old things. Wasn't that aka the BC142XL, or something like
that? I recall them, but the model number escapes me. I've still got a
BC210XL 12-volt scanner. Slow, but loud. And rthe display - you can read
by that light.

Look at that vacuum fluorescent display. Visible well off-axis. You can
actually use it.
