know what you have been seeing as prices, but they are selling it for
$519.95 and it is in stock.  They have free UPS Ground shipping for orders
over $100.  They also have a store in Newcastle, DE (just over the Maryland
line) and Woodridge, VA who may have it in their local stock.  You can call
toll free to find out.  I have bought a number of items from them, both in
the stores and online, and have never had a problem.  I think they are a
great company, so check them out.

Hello All
I have been looking around for the best price on the BC796D scanner.I
have lost my patience with the number crunching thing.This one has a
better shipping price but the scanner is more.This one the scanner is
cheaper but shipping is outrageous and so on and so on.I assume that
most of us are in the DC/MD northern VA area.I would like to know where
those of you who have this radio where you got yours.
