[Scan-DC] Is PG County Upgrading?

The officers who have the Motorola radios also still have the GE MR-K
radios. The Motorola ones are in the
car and have no portables so we keep the GEs as our portables. We're issued
a desk charger and an extra battery
for the portables. The MR-K radios aren't even made anymore, and we still
have some of the old GE MPS radios
out there. One word - money. Ok, three words, really - lack of money. Oh,
yeah, poor logic...
However, I will say that the in car chargers for the MR-K portables were
cheap junk that you had to keep
fixing. The Motorola radios are nice - I can talk with MPDC, Greenbelt City
and Laurel City right now and
more are planned. Though, I haven't run into a need to talk to any of those
agencies yet...
