[Scan-DC] Final Day, Half-price PRO-94 at RS

Until close of business on Saturday the 26th, the PRO-94 is $74.99. 1000
channels, dual trunking, 1300 MHz. SKU 20-524.

My first 800 MHz scanner was the PRO-67. I bought it in 1998 for $150 on
closeout, the regular price for the PRO-94. My PRO-67 has 200 channels,
it does not do trunking, and I believe it stops at 1000 MHz. I am also
amazed at the wide availability of under-$100 portable DVD players.

The PRO-94 has the speaker below the keypad. Isn't that characteristic of
the Uniden-type scanners? I think it is characteristic of the GRE-type
scanners to have the speaker above the keypad.
