Nothing new until after the first of the year as far as we know. The next
release will be the BC-996T which coupled with a GPS unit (not included)
will give you some auto freq capability on multi-site TRS systems. I don't
see a lot more handhelds coming out from Uniden in the near term. What we
have now we will probably have for awahile.

73 and good hunting,

Subject: [Scan-DC] New scanners?

Right now I'm using a BC296D with a crappy glass-mount Radioshack antenna
listening to Howard and Baltimore counties and the City. I'm thinking of
upgrading to the 396T for some of the features (fire tone-outs, close call
mainly). I drive almost daily on 95 or the Beltway, close call would be a
fun feature to play with while listening to MSP or MTA.
My question is if anybody knows what else is coming out soon? It seems like
there's always something new/better/faster around the corner. Something new
for the holiday season maybe?

Thanks
-Kurt
