I found something else in my closet that is just gathering dust.
 
I have a Motorola 32 Channel Maxtrac UHF - I have the following info on  it:
 
MaxTrac 300 (programs using MaxTrac RSS R05.30.00)

Model:  D34MJA7JA5_K
25 WATT
UHF BAND (449.0 - 470.0 MHz)
32 CONVENTIONAL  MODES
SERIAL NUMBER: 428TVY1875

Powers up and appears to operate  fine.
