  There's an article in the issue about how the fellow ,Gene Hughes, who 
makes the "Police Call" freq directories is retiring the books.That's a 
shame as his directory was instrumental in getting me started in scanning.I 
can remember when they cost like $6.00 & always looked forward to any new 
issues.I guess,just like me!, he's getting up there in age & what with the 
Internet making freqs & info practically real time,it was inevitable.

  There's also a decent article re prop conditions plus antennas so, if you 
don't subscribe & only pick one up now & then,this issue is a good one to get.
