In addition to the already mentioned Ham Radio Outlet in Woodbridge, try
Sears. Sears used to sell Uniden scanners. Of course, if you call on the
phone, whoever answers will insist that not only does Sears not sell
scanners, but there is no such thing as scanners, and if there were, they
would be illegal to use anyway.

They used to be near the washers and dryers in the Seven Corners Sears.
