On Wed July 13 The mountain top scanner took a direct lightning hit, the scanner, server, hub and cable modem all have black char marks from the hit! Kasey is assessing the damage, we intend to rebuild the site and will
be back online soon. Mother nature was not kind to us, with over 3 inches of rain in 1 hour and heavy lightning plus a storm that would not move, we can thank Dennis the hurricane for our troubles.

 The moral of this sad incident is clear; disconnect (and ground, if possible) all antennas, and disconnect/remove power supplies during a storm. An arrestor is no guarantee of safey.
