  This comes from emtLarmy on the RadioReference Maryland board
=============================
The High band will go live permanently on Monday May 16, 2005 at 0800 hours. There will be a testing period that will begin at 0700 with each station. As of 0800 hours, the lowband will be discarded. All stations should have their new pagers, and most are being issued throughout the weekend. Over this weekend, the high band will be up and down.

Now for the good news. All stations are getting new tones as well. Their will no longer be a warble tone following the main tones.

155.100 will be used for dispatch
155.865 will be used for simulcast of Fire 1, Fire 2, and Fire 3 (and possibly and EMS 1, 2, 3 as is being done now). [That's tg 07-062 thru 07-067 on the Worcester EDACS system mja]. From what Phil (one of our County's M/A Com engineers) posted somewhere in here, there will not be a pl tone as of now. I assume that could change in the future if there is a problem
