That's Freeway Airport, off Church Road. Apparently, the restrictions from
9/11 have been lifted...

Subject: [Scan-DC] airport question
I went to from northern Virginia to Annapolis on Saturday. Near the
Patuxent River, there is an airport just to the south of Route 50. Is
that in use, or was it embargoes in the wake of 9-11? Is that the
Washington Executive/Hyde Field (W32) mentioned in the thread "[Scan-DC]
Helicopter 'Fetter 1'?"
I attended the UNC-USNA lacrosse game, held at the Memorial Stadium about
a mile north of downtown Annapolis. I didn't think of taking a scanner.
What frequencies are active there during the games? How about Annapolis
in general?
Thanks.
