  It includes comments about the scanner when it was initially released; it had a PL decode problem that has since been resolved. If you happen to get a unit that has this issue, there's a link for the site that has the fix on our CHM Scanners page called 'BC898T Firmware Updates'.  It'll take you directly to the Uniden 898 page where the fix can be found.

  Whew! That oughta keep folks busy with this monster sxxxstorm supposedly coming our way....
