The October 2004 issue of MT had a review by Bob Parnass. It would seem, from the sensitivity charts he provides in the article, that it's pretty hot in the milair range. Like many of its siblings, it can do trunked and conventional in the same bank.
I'd suggest ordering up the issue if you're interested, or get in touch with Bob directly and get a copy of the review. In addition, like most of the newer models, this Uniden has a Yahoo group devoted to it, and it can be found on the CHM scanners page. That's always a good approach to take when researching a new radio.
Just as an aside, BuTel has their ARC898T software, in addition to the usual Uniden offering. Scan Control is working on adding this scanner to their supported list shortly.

Hey All,
Has anyone heard any review on the 898T?
Can it scan trunked and conventional at the same time?
How is it with milair?
Thanx,
Jack
