[Scan-DC] 121.5/243.0 elt

   I can detect carriers on both frequencies that break the squelch on
an R7000 and tower mounted preamped Scantennas.    I barely can hear the
audio pulse only on 243.000 mhz.  Normally civilian aircraft don't carry
243.000 mhz. radio ELT capability.  That capability usually is military
aircraft.  I am located about 30 miles south of Richmond, Virginia.
