I'm not sure why you're having the audio problem Alan since others have
told me to turn it down. There are so many differences in audio systems
and speakers among those listening/watching the broadcast that's it
difficult to find a happy medium. But I'm trying.

My internet connection is business DSL but that's not very important to
being able to broadcast the scanner video. However, it must be something
faster/better than dialup. I purposefully kept the bandwidth low in the
hope that dialup users would be able to see the video and many have
reported they can do that very thing.

The broadcast is comprised of a Uniden BC785D scanner fed into ARC250PRO
software and then using Windows Media Encoder to capture the video and
audio into a streaming format. The web site itself simply embeds a
Windows Media Player that instructs it to open and point to my stream.

I'll do some more asking around about the audio quality and perhaps can
further refine the mixing levels.
