All,

In the late afternoon had helo using callsign Guard 1 (probable DC NG) 
conducting VHF hearability test on 123.025.

Guard 1 started out over the DC area, then proceeded around the beltway 
towards the Mormon Tabernacle then out towards Rt70 over the Gathersburg area.

In chat with a news helo, Guard 1 stated he was conducting VHF hearability 
tests with the NG Armory to see how far away they could hear the helo.
